Jack Gannon brings a great deal of industry experience from his 30 years in theHuman Resources Field within the private sector. For the majority of this time, he was the Global Director of Human Resources for the Invensys Corporation based in Foxboro, Massachusetts. In this capacity, he was constantly coaching employees on potential career options and developing plans to help them achieve their individual goals. He also has done extensive college campus recruiting all over the country, seeking out the most talented students for his company. In addition, Jack participated for many years in School/Business Partnerships with groups such as My Turn based in Brockton, MA which provides assistance to under-served young people in making a successful transition to adulthood by job placement and retention plus post secondary education enrollment.
Originally from Rockland, Massachusetts, Jack is a graduate of UMass Dartmouth with a bachelors degree in Labor Relations. He is currently enrolled in college counseling graduate level studies at UC San Diego.
Outside of his primary occupation, Jack has had a passion for assisting young people in many capacities. He was a soccer coach for 10 years coaching recreational and competitive teams for both boys and girls. He has conducted a spiritually based, youth group in his home for 5 years, guiding high school teens with spiritual, emotional and academic development. With a particular burden for poverty stricken children, Jack has also led several service trips to an orphanage in Guatemala. His life objective can be summed up in a paraphrased quote from Tony Dungy, former coach of the Indianapolis Colts: “Success isn’t about wins and losses or accumulating wealth; it’s about making a significant difference in the lives of others.”
Jack is presently the founder and managing director of Crossroads College and Career Counseling which assists individuals or families with significant college and/or career decisions. His primary objective with Crossroads is to provide a service to people that helps them understand, develop through education and utilize to the fullest their unique God given abilities. Jack currently resides in Norton, MA with his wife Angel.
