On December 9, 2012, the Founder and President of I.C.E, Edward Walker was featured on the cover of the Boston Globe’s Diversity Magazine, as one of the 12 individuals identified as a Diversity Champion, in the city of Boston. Presented at the Annual College Board Conference in Boston, Massachusetts

In 2014, Edward Walker was presented with the College Board Academic Leadership Award, which is given to one individual each year for their demonstration of excellent leadership in secondary and post-secondary education.


Events of 2016 

1. Saturday June 11, 2016: Guest Speaker/Presenter at the Educators of Color Conference at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. There, Edward Walker presented to a group of educators about the Power of Storytelling-Maximizing the Ability to Reach and Teach More.

 2. Friday June 17, 2016: Keynote Speaker at Year UP, where Ed “Inspire for Higher” Walker presented to a group of Year Up scholars his very own crafted presentation entitled, “Becoming Motivated Leaders in Life.”


3. Saturday July 9, 2016: Edward Walker will deliver a commencement speech for the 2016 graduates of the Northeast Institute of Ministry at the Emmanuel Temple Pentecostal Church in Boston MA.


4. Monday July 18, 2016: Ed “Inspire for Higher” Walker, will serve as the Keynote at Camp College hosted by Hampshire College and UMASS Amherst (Details TBD)


5. Friday August 5, 2016: Ed “Inspire for Higher” Walker will serve as a guest speaker at the Horizons Program at the Dedham Country Day School where he will convince the young scholars that failure is a myth, we either win or learn – in the words of Nelson Mandela.


6. Saturday August 13, 2016: Ed “Inspire for Higher” Walker will inspire a group of incoming freshmen at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Connections Program.


7. Monday August 29, 2016: To jump start the new academic year, Edward Walker will lead an empowering workshop: ” Making Connections through the Power of Storytelling,” with a group of Directing Teachers, Apprentices, and Administrators, at the Shady Hill School.
